As part of the Vector Institute Friday seminars, Today (June 28), I gave a talk on the research challenges of security and privacy of Machine Learning models. I enjoyed the talk and specifically the lively discussion and feedback from the bright researchers at Vector.

A collaboration with Hamilton EMS initiated on Optimization of EMS Calls Alternative Routing.
We filed to patent our algorithm on blockchain-based collaboration of medical researchers. The patent is based on the research my student Andrew Sutton is completed in collaboration with Dr. Thomas Doyle (ECE) and Dr. David Koff (HHS).
I accepted the invitation by the Vector Institute to give a seminar on safety and security of MLAs as part of the Machine Learning Seminar series on May 3, 2019.
We are awarded a collaborative MIRA/Labarge Catalyst Grant with Dr. M. Zargoussh (DeGroote School of Business) and Dr. A. Papaioannou (Faculty of Health Sciences) on Addressing the alternate level of care (ALC) issue facing older Candians: A co-designed comprehensive data analytics approach.
